The Executive Committee of CTW International Arts hosts the "CTW International Children and Youth Painting and Calligraphy Competition," based in Japan but reaching out to South Korea, mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and countries worldwide, targeting global youth. The initiative is committed to promoting artistic and cultural development. Through multinational and diverse themed art activities and events, it fosters cultural exchange among young generations from different countries, providing them with opportunities and a stage to fully showcase their talents. The competition committee maintains close collaborations with influential artists, university professors, relevant institutions, and others globally in the industry and society. This ensures the diversity of competition content and styles while guaranteeing professionalism, authority, and fairness. The competition has been successfully held multiple times, attracting over thousands of participants. Exhibitions have been hosted at notable locations like the Myoshinji Temple in Kyoto, Japan, and the Kyoto International Community House. As the acronym "CTW" stands for "Connecting To the World," the initiative aims to connect the world, bringing together all young children who are passionate about arts and culture.

*The artworks of the top 250 participants will be publicly exhibited, and they are invited to attend the award ceremony (participants are responsible for their own expenses to travel to Japan)

Takahiko Shiomi:
Associate Professor at Kyoto City University of Arts, Master of Fine Arts from China Academy of Art, and an ink painter. He is also known as Liangfu, the owner of Luobei Cottage. Graduated from the Department of Chinese Literature at Nishogakusha University, Japan in 1999. Professor Shiomi received a scholarship from the Chinese government in 2000 and completed his master's degree in Chinese landscape painting at China Academy of Art in 2008. Professor Shiomi won the Special Prize at the 20th Todori Association Exhibition (Kyoto City Art Museum) in 2011 and the Bronze Award at the 2nd ASIAN ART BIENNIAL (Hong Kong) in 2018.
Xiao Han
Headmaster of Enlightenment-education, Doctor of Arts from Osaka University of Arts and a Printmaker. Dr. Han becomes the first doctoral student in woodcut printmaking in the history of the university. She is the member of The Society of Wood Engravers(UK), The Japan Society of Printmaking, and Japan Artists Association. Her Wood engraving "Guardian of the Four Directions - Azure Dragon" is collected in the China Engraving Art Museum and the Machida City Museum of Graphic Arts(Japan), while the Wood engraving "Beauty Under the Moon" is housed in the Dalian Art Museum(China). Application Process and Submission Requirements
During the registration period, participants can register either as individuals or as groups. The registration will be done through internet, uploading the artworks, and providing images of the payment receipt.

・The number of winners for each award will increase proportionally with the number of participants.
・All participants will receive certificates issued by the competition committee. Trophies or medals will be separately awarded based on the actual awards achieved.
・All certificates/trophies/medals will be delivered to individual participants or groups approximately 30 days after the event via SF Express on a freight collect basis.
・Participants and their artworks will be featured in the competition catalogue.(the catalogue is provided for a fee)

Important Notes:
⑴Accurate Information: Participants must truthfully fill out and properly safeguard the registration form, artworks, and payment receipt images. Providing false information will result in immediate disqualification.
⑵Registration Fee and Qualification: Once the registration fee is paid, it is non-refundable, and the participation qualification cannot be transferred. Any changes to personal information or artworks will incur an administrative fee of CNY 100. After the judging process, additional fees will be charged for the production of certificates, trophies, or medals for changes.
⑶Use of Personal Information and Artworks: Submitted artworks and personal information will be used for event management, award distribution, publication of reports, and related promotional activities.
⑷Submission and Return of Artworks: Participants must submit selected artworks to the designated location within the specified timeframe. If artwork return is requested, it will be handled through SF Express on a freight collect basis. Artworks cannot be moved or withdrawn during the exhibition period.
⑸Responsibility for Artwork Storage: While the organizing committee will diligently safeguard and store the artworks, they are not responsible for damages or loss caused by uncontrollable factors such as natural disasters.
⑹Adherence to Event Regulations: All participants are considered to agree voluntarily to abide by the event regulations and related requirements. Objections to event judging and display will not be entertained.
⑺Final Interpretation: The final interpretation of the event regulations rests with the CTW International Art Implementation Committee.
